From a themed shindig in a huge rustic barn, to fine dining under a canopy of green vines and twinkling stars, the Agrodome really does have something for every event and style.

The Dome

Imagine your guests’reaction as they step off the coach and are rounded up like sheep by our cute and clever huntaway dogs! They’ll be herded into The Dome –our large, all weather auditorium. Inside, under the impressive timber dome ceiling, the venue is dressed in a classic Kiwi farming theme, and a mouth-watering menu of the finest NZ fare awaits…

The evening’s entertainment options can include human drenching, drafting or an exclusive showing of the world famous sheep show, with witty presenters and group participation.

Vine Dining

This spectacular outdoor venue is set beneath a canopy of vines in our organic orchard. Perfect for more exclusive, intimate gatherings, such as a banquet dinner or a cocktail function with a difference.

Sip kiwifruit wine as the summer afternoon sun filters through the vines, creating a truly unique and memorable ambiance.

Bowen Farmhouse

Our newest venue, an authentic farmhouse with beautifully decorated living spaces, large covered decks and an expansive flat lawn that takes in beautiful views across farmland to Lake Rotorua.

The Bowen Farmhouse is available for either half day or full day bookings and makes an ideal venue for meetings or incentive groups. Ask us to put on a delicious Kiwi morning or afternoon tea or a buffet barbeque lunch. There’s even a swimming pool and tennis court to enjoy, and decks to relax on with a cold drink after the working sessions.

The Bowen Farmhouse experience combines well with a Farm Tour aboard our purpose-built tractors and trailers.

Hutchings Barn

The Barn provides a rustic setting for up to 700 at a cocktail function or 550 seated diners. This venue is the real deal - with corrugated iron walls, high roof and sawdust floor it is the ideal canvas for a truly unique theme –Kiwi farming style, country and western or outlaw Wild West.

Education Centre

The Education Centre is a secluded spot nestled in the heart of our orchard. Available during the day or night, this flexible all-weather venue is especially popular for meetings, workshops and seminars that give way to casual drinks and dinner when the work is done. During the late afternoon and evening, the alfresco dining area, decks and large outdoor fire provide a sensational atmosphere.

The Shearing Shed

The Shearing Shed is a small venue with big rustic and historic character. Give your guests a night to remember, with a sheep shearing demonstration and a shortened version of our famous Farm Show. All set up with its own stage ideal for a small band or soloist, the Shearing Shed offers a complete experience, including sensational out-catered dining.
