Get ready for a fun-packed hour of entertainment and education for the whole family… the legendary Agrodome Farm Show!

Farm Tour

The Agrodome is located in the heart of a real 350-acre working farm. Join us for a guided tour of the farm, animals and our 100% organic fruit orchard.

Nursery

Pet and cuddle the friendly baby animals, and remember to bring a camera because there are awesome photo opportunities! The Nursery is open every day from 8.30am to 5.00pm.

Shearing Museum

Travel half a century back in time to the Agrodome’s authentic recreation of a 1950’s-era Shearing Shed. Watch a sheep being shorn with vintage machinery and discover just how New Zealand became the world’s number one wool growing nation!

Giftshops

After each Farm Show, the Woollen Mill plays host to a demonstration of wool processing and spinning using wool shorn from sheep during the Farm Show! See our authentic Platt wool-carding machine from 1906 – and learn how wool gets from a sheep’s back to your own.
